The Hideaway has been designed perfectly for a couple wanting a romantic weekend retreat, as well as those looking for a well-sized bolthole to explore the Jurassic Coast. This garden apartment has everything on your door step, surrounded by local restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.
The Hideaway is situated just a 2 minute walk to the beach front and has views of the sea from the end of the garden where…yes, where we’ve installed a scandi-style wood fired hot tub!
Bold greens and warm yellows, the kitchen and living space provide an incredible area for nights in and making delicious food. The lounge area opens out into a cosy conservatory and then through the glass double doors you’ll find the garden of dreams! Planted with rosemary, lavender and other beautiful overgreens, this is a garden of paradise!
The living and dining area is ample space for a couple with a super comfy sofa, to snuggle up and perhaps watch Netflix if it decides to rain. There’s a smart tv for logging into online streaming applications, as well as outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.
The master bedroom features a brushed-brass double bed which contrasts perfectly against the fresh, calming green wall paint. There are open wardrobes for hanging clothes as well as drawer space for guests who want to spend a bit longer at this property…The theme of this apartment is peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom has a vibrant yellolw vibe, with victorian style tiles and traditional fixtures. The bath-shower makes a good place to rinse off sandy toes, as well as longer, more relaxing evening baths.
The Hideaway is a pet friendly property and we’d love to welcome your furry friends. We can accept up to two dogs, please add these to your booking form when making your booking. The garden is secure and spacious for your dogs, all we ask is that your dog waste is cleaned up and disposed of.

Hundreds of years ago they were used as a deep soaking bath, now with the addition of a powerful wood fired heating system, they make the perfect couples relaxation aid; light the fire, give it a stir and prepare to be the most relaxed you’ve been in a long while!
The location of this holiday property is fantastic! You are situated on the heart of Broad Street in Lyme Regis with all local cafes, restaurants, pub and shops on your doorstep. The Hideaway has an added benefit of being located away from the highstreet meaning you have a much quieter location compared to apartments that look out onto Broad Street.
For those thinking of booking as two groups, this apartment sits beneath our gorgeous Baker’s Loft property, which can sleep 4 comfortably.
There is an NCP car park very close to The Hideaway, and booking in advance is actually very reasonable via their app. Woodmead Car Park is another great option and just a 6 minute walk, located on the middle of Hill Road next to the Lyme Regis Police Station.
Holmbush Car Park is another option located further up the hill on Pound Street. You’re able to unload luggage and then drop off the car at either location before starting your holiday! For further details on parking please take a look here.
